nextDash v1.22.2 — Action bar and views draw like a category
nextDash v1.22.2 is an appearance fix. The action bar, the five views and Config now look like the rest of your theme under every Signature material.
Until now these surfaces were drawn as the dialog plate of the material, while the dashboard around them used the category paint. Next to the categories they looked like a different theme. The cards on those views also take the corners of the material now.
Appearance
- The action bar now takes the surface, edge, sheen and corners of your theme’s category instead of the plate of a dialog. Under the Ink material it keeps a thin plate, because a bare row of icons would otherwise blend into the bookmarks.
- Bookmarks, Inbox, Containers, Glances and Tags lose the dialog plate (shine, edge, cast). They take the fill, edge, shadow and blur of the material’s category.
- Config is drawn the same way. Its panels, widgets, tiles and update bar take the corner radius of the material, up to 14px.
- Blocks on Config lie on the pane as a light tint: 35% of the surface colour with a hairline, and a 4% tint on a card surface. Before, they read as boxes with their own colour.
Under the Open material nothing changes: the dock and the views keep the plate of the overlay.
Smaller changes
The config pane spec now matches the category paint, and CI runs weighted shards with per-spec timings. The release is held back from the What’s new window, so v1.22.0 stays on top.
