nextDash v1.22.1 — clearer weekly digest, copyable uptime badges and Glances 5 named
nextDash v1.22.1 adds a clearer weekly digest, an Uptime badge you can copy from a bookmark, and a Retry all button for stopped feeds. It also fixes a click on a bookmark’s icon and the way a Glances 5 server was reported.
Weekly digest
The digest window now shows four counts across the top: broken links, what runs out within 30 days, container updates and never opened. Each count opens its view. Below them the parts sit in two columns with a coloured dot, so a full week fits without scrolling. Certificates and domains are bars of days left, nearest first. A part you opened gets a tick and dims, and so does its tile.
The command palette opens the latest digest with :digest. The Config overview has a new Weekly digest panel with the parts still to open, the counts and the date.
Uptime badge and Retry all
The Health tab of a monitored bookmark has an Uptime badge section: a preview, a choice of 7 or 30 days, and the buttons Copy Markdown and Copy HTML. While Serve uptime badges is off, the section says so and links to the switch.
The Feeds widget offers Retry all when more than one feed has stopped. One click asks the server to try every stopped feed again.
Under Behavior → Privacy & sync → Onboarding, the list of corner cards is now complete. The install count, the weekly digest and analytics each show Answered or Not shown yet, with Show again.
Fixes
- A click on a bookmark’s icon now opens the bookmark, like a click on its name. Cmd/Ctrl+click, middle click and selection clicks behave the same.
- A Glances 5 server was reported as version 3. nextDash now says Glances 5 is not supported yet and that Glances 4 is needed. Reading Glances 5 waits until 5.0 is stable.
- In Safari, a refresh threw a reader half-way down the Glances page back to the top. The scroll position now stays.
- The key legend at the foot of the Glances view sits inside its panel under Signature materials.
Upgrading
Pull the new image. On Unraid, update the container from the Docker tab.
